PRICING
It is very difficult to set a price on photo restoration without first seeing the photo and the level of work required to achieve your desired result. Having said that, for a 'gu-estimate' I can at least offer the following:
* A basic retouch or restoration involving minor mark, tear, crease or stain removal and/or colour and contrast enhancement.
$35 YOU WILL RECEIVE A DIGITAL IMAGE VIA EMAIL, WHICH CAN BE SAVED AND PRINTED AS YOU DESIRE.
* Restoration needing more time, effort and expertise will generally be quoted in relation to the amount of hours necessary to do the work. As a rough guide, if your picture falls into these categories:
- old photos that are badly stained or marked that will need much more work to achieve picture clarity.
- make-overs involving wrinkle and blemish removal, teeth-whitening and/or repair, eye colour brightened or enhanced,
background blurred or changed.
- collages of a few images into a single image, if the photos are of reasonable quality and don't need major restoration.
- personalised certificates for any number of occasions, with images faded and blended in the background if desired.
$30 - $75. YOU WILL RECEIVE A DIGITAL IMAGE VIA EMAIL, WHICH CAN BE SAVED AND PRINTED AS YOU DESIRE.
The best idea is to send me a copy of your photo for an immediate quote. Very badly damaged photos may take many hours of work to restore and you will need to assess if the sentimental value of the photo is worth the expense. Generally speaking though it is amazing what can be achieved if the photo is just aged or creased with only minor blemishes, for a minimal cost. I would love to talk to you about any questions you may have. If you would like to discuss any effect you may wish to achieve artistically, be they collages, background changes, make-overs or certificates, I am only too happy to oblige and work with you. You may also request a different sized print if desired, though of course the price will change accordingly.
